Detailed description of Sycamore Golf Club
Sycamore Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Sycamore, Illinois.
Sycamore Golf Club first opened for play in 1923. The course was built along the Kishwaukee River
The course features tree lined bentgrass fairways and large bentgrass greens. This Par-71 course plays just under 6,000 yards and offers a fair test of golf for both the experienced player and novice golfer.
$46 (cart included), played on Saturday, August 2008 at noon
Pretty sad. $11 more than the course in DeKalb, which is more challenging & in better shape overall.
Up & back, straight layout. The only noteworthy hole was #9, which had a nice pond about where your second shot lands, guarding the right side of the green.
Just wanted to get this out there for anyone considering Sycamore.

Front 9 is fairly short and unexciting. Holes are fairly short and not much trouble to get into. Back is more of a challenge with water and layout changes. Enjoyed the day
